Report at the ranger station in Kibale National Park by 0800 hrs to start tracking the habituated Chimpanzees. These impressive chimps are the most closely related animal species to humans, and are very dramatic to watch play and wrangle in the trees. The large Kibale forest is a haven to more than 13 primate species including the red colobus monkey, the blue monkey, baboons, bush babies, black-faced vervet monkeys and the grey mangabey. The park is also home to mammal species though difficult to find in the dense forest. Among them includes elephants, leopards, buffalos, bush pigs, warthogs and numerous antelope species. The park boasts hundreds of bird species that include blue-breasted kingfisher, african grey parrot, bee-eater, sunbirds, crowned eagle, green breasted pitta, pigeons among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.
