DTL 4 | 7 Days Tree Hotel/Samburu/Nakuru/Maasai Mara

Day 1 – Nairobi / Tree Hotel
Pick up from your hotel at 7.30 am and drive through the reach agricultural land inhabited by the Kikuyu tribe, the biggest tribe in Kenya. Arrive at either Outspan Hotel or Aberdare Country Hotel for lunch before proceeding into the Aberdares for an exciting Tree Hotel or lodge overlooking floodlit waterholes. Dinner and overnight at a tree hotel.

Day 2 – Samburu
Depart Aberdares after breakfast Continue north across the equator to a different scenery and wildlife in Northern Frontier into Samburu National Park. Lunch then a gamedrive. Dinner and overnight in a lodge.

Day 3 – Samburu
Full day to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife including Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. Leopard, lion and onyx. Dinner and overnight in a lodge.

Day 4 - Samburu/Lake Nakuru
Morning drive via Nyahururu Falls down to the floor of the Rift Valley. Lunch at Lake Nakuru then enjoy a gamedrive in the home of millions of flamingoes and over 400 species of other birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru.

Day 5 - Nakuru/Maasai Mara
Morning drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai Mara. Lunch and later an afternoon gamedrive.

Day 6 - Maasai Mara
Full day to experience the Mara magic! Three game drives in the Kenya’s premier reserve which is an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all the year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. A visit to the Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost for those who are interested. Dinner and overnight as above

Day 7 Maasai Mara/Nairobi
Early morning gamedrive then the tour returns to Nairobi.
