DTL 6 |6 Days Amboseli/Nakuru/Maasai Mara

A safari that takes you in the heart of Maasai Land Amboseli then transports you to the Great Rift Valley and into the beautiful Lake Nakuru with its 2 million plus flamingoes. Finally you find yourself in the great Maasai Mara to enjoy the astounding wildlife. Maasai Mara is the ultimate game viewing destination!

Day 1 - Nairobi/Amboseli
Depart Nairobi at 0730hrs and drive south through Maasai territory to Amboseli Game Reserve, arriving in time of lunch. Afternoon gamedrive beneath the snow capped peak of Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 2 - Amboseli
A dawn gamedrive to view elephants, lions, zebras, buffalos and hyenas returning to the lodge for breakfast at leisure. Rest of the morning at leisure or by the swimming pool. Lunch and final gamedrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at as above

Day 3 - Amboseli/Rift Valley/Lake Nakuru
An early breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru with a stop over for lunch in Nairobi. Proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving for a late afternoon gamedrive in this Lake that is home to millions of flamingoes and other species of birds and is often described as an ornithologist paradise. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 4 - Lake Nakuru/Maasai Mara
Depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast. Lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game viewing in the reserve that borders the Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 5 - Maasai Mara
Full day experiencing the Mara magic in the Kenya’s premier reserve which is an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all the year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. A visit to the Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost for those who are interested. Dinner and overnight at as above.

Day 6 - Maasai Mara/Nairobi
After a dawn game drive, breakfast at leisure before driving back to drive to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel.
