DTL 3: 4 Days Nakuru/Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara is Kenya's best game park, with the possibility of seeing all the big five and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration is a spectacle to behold for any would be visitor to Kenya mainly in July and August of each year. Maasai Mara has just been voted as one of the 7th wonders of the world due to its wild beast migration that transverses Serengeti and into the Maasai Mara

Day 1 - Nakuru
Pick up from your hotel by 9a.m, we drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to the Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda that forms the Great Rift Valley lakes . It is a bird lover’s paradise due to its variety of birds. It is here that you can view up to 2 million pink flamingoes flapping away to form a beautiful pink blanket. Lunch followed by an extensive afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge

Day 2- Maasai Mara
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive to the Maasai Mara. Lunch followed by a game drive to explore the Mara region

Day 3 - Maasai Mara
Full day experiencing the Mara magic in the Kenya’s premier reserve which is an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all the year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August.. It is packed with the elephants, zebras, rhino and all kinds of game through out the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from. Being at Maasai Mara is "as if you found yourself in the New York of the natural world according to some authorities". Indeed you have the best opportunity of seeing all the big five..A visit to the Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost for those who are interested. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 4 - Massai Mara/Nairobi
After breakfast the tour returns to Nairobi by lunchtime.
