DTL 2 | 2½ Days Amboseli/Tsavo/Nairobi

Amboseli National is the next most popular park after Maasai Mara. It has a spectacular backdrop of Africa’s highest peak Mt Kilimanjaro. The wildlife here is abundant for a small park like Amboseli. You will spot buffalo, lions, elephants, zebra, jackal and many more including the hyena.

Day 1 - Nairobi/Amboseli
Drive south through Maasai country to Amboseli National Park where all “The Big Five” are likely to be found. Lunch and afternoon gamedrive beneath the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 2 - Amboseli/Tsavo
Early morning drive to Tsavo National Park. A stop-over is made at Mzima Springs where from an underwater observation chamber it is literally possible to watch a hippo or crocodile swim along the floor of this crystal clear spring. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants. Dinner and overnight at a lodge

Day 3 - Tsavo/Nairobi
Early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast. Afterwards depart Tsavo for Nairobi.
